General: Sweatman is a second-year player for WTAMU and is one of five returning pitchers from last season... had a solid off-season and is expected to be a large contributor to the bullpen... he came to WTAMU from Merkel High School where he earned first-team All-District honors in both his junior and senior years.

2003: Made 14 appearances, pitched in 44.2 innings and earned a 1-5 record... struck out 27 batters and had a 8.26 ERA.

Personal: Born Jan. 4, 1985... son of Tony and Teresa Sweatman... a psychology major.
