Rams Quite Buff Bats in Series Finale, 17-2
March 16, 2008
CANYON, Texas - On a cool and windy day at Conner Park, the West Texas A&M baseball team dropped a 17-2 decision to Angelo State during the final contest of a four-game Lone Star Conference South Division series between the two schools. The Buffs are now 7-18 on the season and 4-15 in LSC South play, while the Rams improve to 21-8 and 16-4 in league action. ASU pitcher Bradley Durst limited the Buffs to only three hits on the afternoon in a complete game effort, with the Buffs scoring their only two runs of the contest on double from centerfielder Justin Graham in the fourth inning. WT baseball is back in action on Tuesday afternoon when they host Panhandle State at Conner Park. |
