COMMERCE, Texas - The West Texas A&M men's cross country team finished 8th in the Lone Star Conference Championships in Commerce on Saturday afternoon. Thomas Harris crossed the line first for the Buffs, finishing the 8k run in 27:41.87 to come in 27th place individually.

Jose Velazquez finished the race in 28:22.07 to place 33rd while Jose Huerta finished in 28:38.61 to place 35th.

Isai Saucedo was the final runner for the Buffs, crossing the line in 29:50.56 for a 50th place finish.

Abilene Christian won the LSC title with Wildcat runners claiming the first four individual places while East Central came in second overall and Tarleton State in third.
