Having previously served two years as a student assistant with the Lady Buff Basketball program, Trevor Tucek is now in his first season as a graduate assistant.

He began his coaching career as a student assistant at South Plains College, where they finished fourth in the nation after the 2004-2005 season. Tucek earned his associates degree from South Plains in Science.

Tucek received his degreein math education at West Texas A&M and is the son of Belinda Maye and Tommy Tucek. He also has one sibling, Tiffani.
