Back for her junior campaign, Bromwell will see an increased leadership role along with fellow juniors Sara Conteras and Kelly Culley ... Saw increased playing time and could continue that trend this season.

2006 Season (Sophomore)
During her second season in Canyon, Bromwell found her way on the court for more than her freshman campaign, appearing in 37 matches and starting 16 contests during the Lady Buffs' run to the Elite Eight ... Racked up 209 digs from her back row position, an average of 2.32 digs per contest ... Also contributed with 18 services aces (.20 SA per game) ... Collected a career-high 16 digs in a Oct. 21 victory over Texas A&M-Kingsville.

2005 Season (Freshman)
Appeared in 13 matches for the Lady Buffs as a freshman ... Racked up 18 digs in 21 games for an average of 0.86 digs per game.

Pampa High School
Played both defensive specialist and outside hitter for the Pampa HS Harvesters ... Won the Hustling Harvester Award two years in a row ... Also a regional qualifier in track.

Lady Buff Bits
Played high school volleyball for the Pampa Harvesters where she was coached by former Lady Buff All-American Shannon Stroud.

"Alyssa saw her playing time increase dramatically last season, and eventually won a starting position. Her serving and serve receive have improved the most over last year, and with the departure of the senior class, these are areas we need the most help. Alyssa's role will continue to grow during her junior year, and I look for her to make a bigger impact from the back row."
