Also contributed with 26 service aces (0.21) and 80 digs (0.64) ... Tallied 10 or more kills on 15 different occasions ... Collected a season-high 19 kills and a career-high 12 total blocks against Central Oklahoma on Sept. 17.
2004 Season (Sophomore)
For the second year in a row, earned a spot on the second-team All-LSC South list ... Saw action in all 35 matches and 125 of the 127 games ... Led the team in blocks for the second straight season with 111 ... Averaged .89 blocks per game (sixth best in LSC) ... Tallied a career-high 9 blocks at St. Mary's on Nov. 3 ... Posted 8 blocks vs. Rockhurst on Sept. 17 and two other times posted 6 blocks ... Pounded out 337 kills (2.70 kpg), second best on the team, including a career-high 23 kills at St. Mary's on Nov. 3.
2003 Season (Freshman)
Earned second-team All-LSC South honors after leading the conference with 120 blocks (1.17 bpg), playing in 34 matches and 103 games ... Had five or more blocks in 14 matches, including the final eight contests of the season ... Had a season-high eight blocks twice: in a win over Oklahoma Panhandle State on Oct. 17 and in a loss to Lubbock Christian on Oct. 30 ... Also tallied 243 kills (2.36 kpg) with a .270 hitting percentage, which was third on the team and sixth in the league ... Registered double-digit kills in nine matches including a season-high 15 kills in a win over TAMU-Kingsville on Oct. 3 and in a loss to Lubbock Christian on Oct. 30.
HIGH SCHOOL
Spivey earned first-team All-District honors at Keller High her senior season, after being named to the second-team as a junior ... Led KHS to the district championship and a 25-12 record her junior year ... Named District Blocker of the Year, as well as receiving Dallas Morning News and Fort Worth Star Telegram Athlete of the Week honors ... Played for Arlington TAV 18's Club team.
LADY BUFF BITS
Was selected to play in the USA Athletes International Tour Of Australia in the summer of 2005. The team participated in the Northern University Games as part of the Down Under Challenge during their two-week tour of Australia.
COACH GRAYSTONE SAYS
"Megan once again led the LSC in blocks per game in 2005, and we expect her to do the same in '06. During the off-season, Megan became much more consistent offensively, and I know she plans on having a greater influence on our offense, especially in transition."
